I took them out the box as soon as they arrived.

I thought the service was great. Delivery was fast. I'm not sure how moist the super plugs should have been apon delivery but they were dry.
Merchant reply by John 2 days ago Thanks for taking a moment to share your experience. Last winter was very dry on our farms and that has continued into the spring and early summer. Fortunately Amazoy Zoysia generally prefers drier conditions but this is probably beyond ideal at this stage. Getting the grass planted in your yard as soon after arrival as possible is always the best and follow the planting and watering instructions and all should be fine. Always here to help if you need us.

Very disappointed.

I had previously purchased 8 trays of Zoysia plugs from Lowe's as a trial. They came in separate individual trays and was all green grass. It was so easy to plant these, and the results are excellent. When I placed the order for 45 trays on Tuesday with your company, I thought I was buying like the ones from Lowe's. I was told that all 45 trays will arrive on Friday by one of your representatives. It did not arrive on Friday as promised, instead it arrived on Saturday and not entire trays but only 25 trays. When I opened the box, it was all brown instead of green that I expected. However, one of your reports said that they are in dormant condition, so I went ahead and planted them. It took some effort to cut and divide the roll into 15 plugs as they were not in a separate individual trays like Lowe's. I am not sure if they will survive as almost all corner plugs looked to be without any soil and in a bad shape, I guess time will tell. My bigger problem was that I didn't get the other 20 trays until Sunday 4:00 in the afternoon. I could not do anything for the whole day waiting for these 20 trays. I had already prepared my yards so that I could plant them as soon it arrived. When it finally arrived via Fed ex, I checked the box and found out that all soil got dried up so that grasses did not have any soil on them. I didn't think these will survive, so I refused them. The next day, I called the company and was told that the company will not refund or replace these 20 trays as they are live things. I get it. However, they should have arrived on a timely basis, wouldn't you think? Your representative told me that it isn't their responsibility once it leaves their hands. I don't think this is right. Perhaps, you need to find another means to transport your goods in the future. The gentleman I spoke to didn't even apologize for my concern; he simply told me that there is nothing he can do because it is the company's policy not to refund or replace if it was refused. I have a suggestion. If someone calls your company to ask questions about your product, I think your representatives should explain what to expect when we do get the product that looks like they are all dead. It is shocking to see these brown grasses when you first open the box. I thought customer is always right, but I guess not so in this case. I've learned a valuable lesson. Good luck to you and your business. Thank you for your time.
Merchant reply by John 3 days ago We are sorry that you have not had a more positive experience. We offer a full replacement guarantee for any plugs that fail to grow once planted. We take full responsibility for the viability of our product. With years of experience we know that once planted the grass has an excellent chance of success. Living plants can go dormant in the transplanting process from our fields to your yard. The grass is not dead, the plant and its roots are alive and just sleeping waiting to be planted. It wakes up once it gets sunlight, water and some nutrients from your soil. This is covered in the very first lines of our planting instructions included with every order. By refusing the shipment or not planting the plants soon after arrival, that process has been interrupted and unfortunately the plants will likely die. As to your belief of a stated arrival date, I assure you we do not promise or guarantee delivery dates. They are are beyond our control. We do send tracking number so you can track your shipment with the carrier once it leaves our facility. We will project estimate shipping dates from our farm based on current harvesting and shipping but even those are subject to change based on field conditions when we go to harvest. Since some items are coming back it appears, that will trigger a review of the situation including this review. Thank you for your patience while this process takes place.

I want "green super plugs"

Delivery was fast . The Super plugs looked nothing like shown on your web site. Not green at all. You explained why in the literature I received but that was after the fact and the photos were misleading to your customers . If I decide to order again will they look like what I received ? I await tour replyI want
Merchant reply by John 3 days ago It is unfortunate that the plants sometimes, go into dormancy in transit. Mother Nature has its own mind on this and we have no control. It happens from time to time but has no bearing on the end result of the plants growing and resulting in a beautiful lawn. We are here to help you with that in anyway we can, as that is the ultimately measure of success. Thank you for your feedback.
