Acquired 6 plugs. Planted them whole in a mixture of garden soil and sand. Spaced the plugs several inches apart, watered daily and lightly fertilized once. Plugs arrived mostly brown but greened up after 2-3 weeks. All are doing well and plan to break them up into smaller plugs to spread over a wider area next growing season.

It was not that easy to order the plugs, but the delivery was fast. They arrived yesterday, and I planted them last night. They look good.

Ordering plugs is not very familiar to most but once you do it become very easy the next time. If you ever have an issue or concern about ordering we have customer service people here Monday to Friday from 8 to 4 eastern to help. 410-756-2311

I followed directions and planted the squares the day after receiving, which was 4 days ago and they're all turning yellow like they're dying? I'm watering every day for 15 minutes.

I just saw this as I was leaving for the long weekend so I don't have all the details. My first thoughts was maybe too much water but if you are following the watering instructions of 15 min per day that probably isn't what is happening. It is possible if it is very very hot the plugs are under some transplanting stress and attempting to go dormant. If that is the case they will bounce back. Keep up the light watering each day for now and lets see how they do over the next few days. We will reach out to you on Tuesday for an up date.

Fast shipping and plugs look great so far. Called to ask a few questions and Customer Service was very informative. Great experience working with you. Looking forward to the finished product as the plugs spread into a beautiful lawn.

Thank you for your kind words particularly about our customer service team. Naturally we are happy your experience was so positive and you are on the way to a beautiful lawn. The last ingredient is a little patience, as Zoysia is a slower growing grass and that includes the spreading. The first season is really spent with the plants getting established and growing roots. The second growing season is when you will see the spreading start. Thanks again for your order and feedback.

Great service and products, planted plugs back in early April and am very impressed, used the stim-u-root on other plants that had been damaged by a rare very cold winter very happy 😊!!!

I spoke with a very pleasant and knowledgeable woman on your phone line. After doing so , I was confident in placing an order on-line. The product arrived quickly, accompanied by planting instruction. I'm confident that the result will be good if all continues to go as well as it has to this point.

Would like confirmation that my order was received. Credit card charged. The funds are holding. Not expecting it to be sent so quick, but a email confirmation within 36 hours is not too much to ask these days. Usually it’s automatic. And as stated on the website I should receive confirmation and shipping information then my card will be charged. That is not the case here. Hoping this is an unusual circumstance.

Thanks for the review. You are 100% right about order confirmations and shipping notifications. We send email order confirmation immediately after your ordering online. Unfortunately some email providers are not quite as good at delivering. We get a notification when this happens usually they state because of volume limitations our email was not delivered (bounced) or sometimes they say the mail box has exceeded some limit. We will try multiple times over the next few hours but if the email provider continues to not deliver we will have to move on. You will have to contact sbcglobal.net as this is of their doing. Your order is scheduled for harvesting tomorrow morning, for shipping later in the day. We will send a shipping notification email also with a FedEx tracking number. If you don't receive this by late afternoon it probably means they have once again not delivered what we are sending to you. Very frustrating for you I'm sure and we don't like taking the blame for their service!

I would not buy Zoysia from any other place. For 30+ years the product has remained unrivaled. Their communication is also 100% dependable - and friendly as it is professional. I only wish that their routine sales included the absolute delivery date for each order as a policy.

Thanks for being such a loyal customer and for your high praise of our Amazoy Zoysia grass. As to order delivery, we ship every order just as fast as we can usually the next day or maybe two, but that is very dependent on the weather the next day when we go to harvest. We don't just go to a shelf and pick a box, we actually have to go to a field and harvest the product. When it rains, thunders or is lightening that becomes impossible and if it rains hard enough we might not get into the fields for several days or even a week occasionally. I think you see the issue we face in being specific about when an order will ship, let alone when you might see delivery of it. Rest assured we ship every order just as fast as we can, usually the next day, while doing our best to dance around whatever weather Mother Nature might throw our way. Oh, and should I mention that we have to watch your weather also to make sure Mother Nature isn't send event like snows or a hurricane your way before shipping? Thanks for the opportunity to assure you we are doing our best to meet customer expectations both with products and service.

I bought about 50 plugs this spring, for my pasture area, but didn't read all of the instructions before planting them, so many of them burned up. However, we had a prolonged heat wave and drought in North TX this summer. I have come to the realization that summers won't get much better in the future, and I can't keep running my water well dry to keep everything watered. I need a lawn that doesn't require almost daily watering, and Zoysia seems to be the way to go now. (Don't worry, I'll read and follow your instructions this time....)
