Wish there was a little more updates and tracking of order.
Merchant reply by John 7 days ago I do have a bit of an update for you. It was harvested this morning and is already on a truck leaving the farm this afternoon. You will receive a shipping notification email later today that will have a FedEx tracking number to give you updated delivery information, I suspect it will be delivered tomorrow.

No communication

I am not able to positively review my experience at this time. I ordered the super pack on April 23 and received acknowledgment of said offer on that date. Since then, NOTHING! No communication on status and, obviously, no grass. Today is April 29.
Merchant reply by John 9 days ago The busiest weeks of the year present challenges for all of us here. We are working to get out all orders in as timely a basis as possible. The good news, I can see your order on the harvesting schedule which means it should leave either later today or tomorrow. Once the order has shipped you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number which will allow you to get delivery updates direct from the FedEx site. Happy planting.

Sod was dead on arrival

Poor communication. Did not know when order would be shipped. Called and was told the order was being processed, and it would be shipped in a couple of days; but no precise shipping date. Note: This is a perishable product. 15% of the sod had died in transit.
Merchant reply by John 9 days ago Thank you for the feedback. The vitality of the plants are in the roots and once planted they will send up new green blades of grass. While they may appear less then healthy, the plant is fine and will bounce back. We harvest from our fields every day we can (rain prevents harvesting) and orders are shipped in the order they are received. I wish we could just go to a shelf and pick a box but that would not give healthy plants. Hopefully you planted and gave a chance to even the ones you perceived as dead. I also note your email provider msn.com bounced both the order confirmation and shipping notification emails we sent. You might want to check with then as to why they are not delivering emails notifications sent to you. I have made a note with your order that plants arrived looking less then their best in case they don't make it and need replacement.

Great service, fast shipping

Ordering was straightforward, and all of my questions were quickly answered when I called by a helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, live person! I received my order in 4 days and had all the plugs in the ground within a day.

The website is a little clunky and not the easiest to understand. This was my second order and I was not thrilled with either. The product was not in good shape when it arrived and the second order was for precut super plugs where about half had to be cut by me. I'm not likely to order from them again.
Merchant reply by John 16 days ago Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We apologize that some of the Super Plugs needed additional finishing to be cut all the way through. Usually running a utility knife gently along the cuts will finish the job. We are very vigilant in watching the cutting depth but some do slip thought due to the nature of field harvesting and the variable amount of earth taken. We will continue to work to improve the result.
